Home Remedies To Treat Dandruff And Itchy Scalp:

#1 Baking Soda For Itchy Scalp:

Baking soda is loaded with number of anti bacterial and anti fungal property that helps to prevent all microbes that causes infection and itchiness on your scalp. It also helps to balance PH level on your scalp.

You Need:

  • 2 table spoons of baking soda
  • One table spoon of water

Directions To Use:

  • Mix 2 ingredients to form a thick paste and apply this paste on your scalp and leave it for 15 minutes.
  • Rinse it off with cool water and finish it with mild sulphate free shampoo and conditioner.
  • Repeat it twice in a week.

Note:

Excessive using of baking soda also results in dry look of hair.

#2 Lemon Juice For Itchy Scalp:

Lemon juice is known for its astringent properties that help to get rid of itchiness caused by dandruff. It also helps to strengthen your hair from roots and reduce the hair fall.

You Need:

2 table spoons of lemon juice

Directions To Use:

  • Apply lemon juice on your scalp with the help of cotton ball.
  • Remain it for more than 10 minutes and then rinse it off with water
  • Repeat it twice in a week.

#3 Apple Cider Vinegar For Itchy Scalp:

Apple cider vinegar works excellent in treating scalp infections. The acidic nature in apple cider vinegar will help to get rid of dandruff causing fungus and bacteria from your scalp.

You Need:

One table spoon of apple cider vinegar

Cup of water

Directions To Use:

  • Dilute apple cider vinegar in a glass of water.
  • Rinse your hair with this solution after washing your hair with a shampoo and let it remain for five minutes.
  • Then wash your hair with cool water. Repeat this process twice in a week.

#4 Onion Juice For Itchy Scalp:

Onions are not only used for garnishing and adding in to delicious foods, it also helps us in maintaining clean scalp. The anti microbial properties in onions will keep scalp infection free and keep it healthy.

You Need:

2 table spoons of onion juice

Directions To Use:

  • Apply onion juice with the help of cotton ball on your scalp and let it remain for 30 minutes.
  • Rinse it off with cool water and repeat once in a week for beneficial results.

Listerine is mouth wash help to remove germs and bacteria from our mouth. Due to its anti microbial properties it also helps in preventing bacteria and fungus on scalp to eliminate itching and dandruff.

½ cup of Listerine mouth wash

½ cup of water

  • Mix two ingredients together and apply this mixture on your scalp and massage it for 5 minutes.

2 table spoons of aloe vera gel

3-4 table spoons of virgin coconut oil
