How to Use Clove Essential Oil For Toothache

Toothaches are uniquely irritating and distressing, especially if you can’t get immediate appointment with your doctor. You can always use over counter medications, but natural treatments are best when compared with these medications.

Have you ever heard about clove oil? For centuries, clove oil has been used as a pain relief technique. Historically, this treatment has been using inserting clove oil to an infected cavity or tooth. Because clove oil contains an active ingredient called that numbs the skin that touches that provide temporary relief from the toothache.

In this article, we are going to learn how to use clove essential oil for your tooth ache for permanent relief.

How To Use Clove Oil For Tooth Ache:

You can use clove oil in many ways especially to treat tooth ache.

Ingredients Required:

  • A bottle of clove oil
  • One cotton swab
  • Carrier oil
  • A small cup

What You Need To Do:

  • Pour few drops of clove oil in a small dish and place it aside.
  • Soak cotton swab in oil and gently swab around the area around the affected area. Or place it on the affected area.
  • Allow it to sit for more than 10 minutes.
  • It starts working, then apply it for more than 3-4 times in a day for 2-3 days until you get complete relief.

Alternatively, you can also mix clove oil with little amount of carrier oil and take this mixture directly in your mouth and let it stay for few minutes. Focus on swishing the clove oil on affected area to avoid numbing your whole mouth.

You can also find clove paste by mixing or grinding fresh cloves with little amount of fresh clove essential oil. But, this is less effective when compared with clove essential oil.
