Use Rice Water To Lighten Your Skin Tone, It’s Very Effective

One of the secrets to keeping complexions smooth, glowing and youthful is washing face with rice water. Yes, it’s not mistake! Rice water (and also fermented rice water) is one of the major beauty component of Chinese and Japanese Women.

Traditionally, female rice farmers in Southeast Asian countries used to bathe and wash in the water used for cleaning rice. Such procedure makes their skin clean and shiny, which is so adorable and we would definitely love to possess such great look.

Ingredients:

  • Airtight container for storage
  • Raw rice, 1 cup
  • Water

Direction:

Wash the rice twice to get rid of the dirt. Don’t use this water – just throw it away as it contains dirt and impurities.

Now boil the one cup rice in 600 ml of water, once the rice is cooked strain it and keep the water in a airtight container.

Keep the rice water in refrigerator for 2-3 hours and let it cool. You can use the cooled rice water as a toner or to rinse your face once a day.

Rice water contains beneficial minerals and vitamins like B1, C, and E. The combination of all these things can tighten skin and shrink pores as well as make skin softer and brighter looking. It also promotes skin cell growth, stimulates blood flow, and slows down the aging process.
